Sally Kern Says I’m Worse Than A Terrorist.

And so are you, you, you -and most definitely you. Since you two are homo-supportive, I bet that makes you worse than terrorists, too. Welcome to our not-so-exclusive club!

Who is Sally Kern, you ask? Don’t worry, I had to look her up too- isn’t it always the way that small minds who say small things have even smaller reputations? Kern is a Representative from Oklahoma. Here’s the video of her inane pronouncement, if you’re interested.

I just love the complete and utter departure from reality that’s called for to make a comparison like this one. I mean, CLEARLY, I’m out there maiming and killing on a daily basis. As are the rest of my distinguished brothers and sisters in homo-sek-shul camaraderie. And yet, I’m still blogging, working, living the middle class dream of a house, a dog, and yadda yadda. Something is missing from this equation, Ms. Kern. What is it?

Oh! That’s RIGHT. The fact that your assertion is a ridiculous, hate-inflaming pile of bunk.

I knew I’d figure it out eventually.

What the hell is she so afraid of? I hate when one ignorant person claims to be speaking as a “Christian”. She doesn’t speak for me.

BTW, does anyone have an extra copy of the homo agenda? It seems that I never received one.

I could guess a million things. But you know how it is with anything relating to sex- repressed individuals will find a lot of things to paint as ‘evil’ and ‘worse than terrorism’. It is both endlessly amusing and maddening to me that as a society we continue to rail against sex and try to inhibit healthy sexual expression.

As for that extra copy, it’s at Kinko’s- I’m resending the memo again soon. Stay tuned to the Gay Bat Channel.

“The homosexual agenda is destroying our country”??

And all this time I thought it was unnecessary wars, government inefficiency, a tanking economy and a culture of greed and apathy destroying our country.

Silly me, I guess it was us queers all along.

You know, I actually love it when shit like this comes out. Because it brings to light the things people are saying behind closed doors, and because it brings to light what people are thinking but instead smile, pat us on the head, and say things like “it’s for the children.”

When vile rants like this come out, straights and gays can say to each other, this is horrible and we need to do something about it. But when it’s with a smile and a pat on the head, it confuses people and there is no reaction. So I guess I’m saying thank you to Sally Kern, for getting caught in speaking your hate: you show us it’s real, and people like you need to be stopped.

Her exposed idiocy is kind of like Fred Phelps’ clan, in a way- I can see your point, LeLo. I don’t find myself overly angry about her comments, more just head-shaking and making fun of her.

The downside, of course, is that being in the YouTube Era her stuff not only makes people go “What a a dumbass”, it undoubtedly has the opposite effect. So very possibly, it has zero net effect.

Who knows. All I know is- keep giving me the fodder to make fun of yourselves, wingnuts. I appreciate the free entertainment!

i just watched the video over at Bayou’s.

    i am speachless. (almost)

  7. Uppity says:

I can’t wait for the inevitable conservative closet-case sex-scandal headline: “Sally Kern Is Having Ann Coulter’s Baby.”

  8. Dawn says:

Yeah, I’m waiting for something similar to Spitzer-gate — those who cast stones had better don their own bulletproof vests and helmets because they just open themselves up to scrutiny and revenge. But don’t you get tired of waiting for people to get their comeuppance for going about obtaining relevance in such a hateful way?

  9. zoe says:

I’m personally sick of these people trying to indoctrinate me with their “christian” agenda. Where the hell do her rights end and mine begin? And why wouldn’t us gays want to be a part of the government. I mean we have to live in this society, shouldn’t we also want to participate in democracy.

When I went house-shopping in 2003, one of my criteria was “Not in District 84.” Sally wasn’t there yet – a numbskull named Bill Graves was finishing out his legal maximum of twelve years – but I figured I didn’t want any part of that place.

  11. Lisa says:

Wow, I never knew anyone would think that I could be so menacing and threatening. So wonderful that Sally could set the record straight, no pun intended.

It amazes and frightens me that people elected her.
