(Here’s where you should be envisioning a quartet of bad-ass bitches giving the finger and obscene tongue gestures to my brother’s band, the aforementioned Italic Squirrels.)
As promised, I’ve taken photographic proof of the awesomeness that is the Rat Dog Killaz. We didn’t rock the house as fluidly as we did last time, BUT- we did get a couple 5 star ratings and we think we’ve finally settled on our respective instruments. And somehow, I ended up being the singer.
There will be no audio posted, so don’t ask. Hit the cut to see what I look like in my virtual rock stardom.
Since I’m the designated off-key screamer singer, I’m the 4th on the right. Yes, I’m bald. Or was- I bought myself some rad hair last night but forgot to snap a picture. It’s purple and long. The rest of the band, L to R is: Bitchy Annie (Texass, drummer) Snatch (Teach, guitarist), and Crookd (Bayou, bass). My avatar name is Ruby, but I think I am going to change it to something weird like Anya Vigoda.
This was one of our 5-star sets. Not bad for a bunch of goof balls with no real training. And for the record, singing Nirvana’s “In Bloom” is really fucking hard WHEN YOU’RE NOT A DUDE. I cannot get my voice that low.
We did discover a few tracks we do really well:
Maps, Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Creep, Radiohead
Wanted Dead Or Alive, Bon Jovi
I Think I’m Paranoid, Garbage
Maps is by far my favorite to sing, with I Think I’m Paranoid a close second- I actually think I sing the latter better, but Maps just has a certain something I love. Can’t put my finger on what.
I have to show you, gentle readers, the amazon avatar Bayou created. I don’t know why, but I absolutely love it. Here’s what she looked like before she went shopping and got some new hair, instruments, and duds.
And here’s her current stylin’ virtual self:
I had no idea Dutch cowgirls could be so hot. Rowwwr!

Um…rock on. Boy, howdy….
You think we’re totally weird young whipper-snappers, don’t you Maria?
I think I just got nerdier from reading this.
Well Syd, you get nerdier every time you read me, then.
