So, I wrote about this awhile back. Things are starting to get moving with Suitor Co.

The hold up, according to them, has been two-fold; one, they were trying to create a position for me, and two, they were trying to close a deal with a major international agency that combats piracy. I had sent a “what’s up?” email yesterday, and got a near-instant response from the VP to talk about things.

We’re chatting at 3pm today. And here’s where things are going to get interesting.

Not only is this opportunity finally coming to fruition, I have an internal one that I just got moving on yesterday. They’re not ready for me to apply yet, so nothing has gotten started. But I am very interested in it, too.

Assuming Suitor Co’s offer is decent and is the right fit work-wise (and I feel very good about the latter), then I have to negotiate a bit. Not just salary, but vacation and my resignation time.
