365 Days
Today, my honey and I have been in our house a year. Doesn’t seem possible.
And I am pleased to report that -unlike last year- we are not contending with snow, heavy rain, or flooding. No; today, we had the Fog Monster That Swallowed Seattle. I’ll take fog over flooding any day.
We didn’t do anything special to mark our house-a-versary, but it’s nice to just be able to reflect on how far we’ve come… and how many home improvement projects lay ahead.

We, too, marvel at how fast time seems to go by.
I love the eeriness of fog, but driving in it scares me like crazy.

Thanks, Sassy and Chris!
And Sassy- I agree re: driving in the fog. We had to take Bayou’s mom to the airport in it last night. Not fun. Seems to have cleared up today.

Aren’t you glad that you didn’t have to move in that fog?
Congratulations on the house. Time really does fly.

A year already? Wow. I’m thrilled for you both in your happy, cozy, loving home and hope maybe to visit you in it one of these days.

Yes, Lisa, I am!
You damn well better visit us, Dawn. Just sayin’.
Weese, we have no new projects immediately in the pipeline, but I assure you that when we do, I will take copious photos.
Thanks for the congrats, all!

Who are you kidding, there are ALWAYS new projects in the pipeline… just maybe not always the funding for them, lol.

Shouldn’t it be “happy hobby-aversary”? I know ours is.
Hey, we bought ours in December, too. We should have a joint houseaversary (circuit) party every year… Get out the disco ball!

My life sometimes seems to be one home improvement followed by another…
