The First Snow
Well, as much as I may loathe the
Bayou waited for me to get home before she let our resident Shibazilla out to see the flurries. We had a small covering of snow in the back yard, maybe half an inch. The following shots display the semi-winter wonderland, and a certain canine’s enjoyment.
As you can see from this first picture, Sumi was rather fascinated with the collection of snow on her tennis ball. She spent a great deal of time rolling it around, and making it a snowball.

I doubt she was the least bit cold, either. For once her

Hopefully the next time it snows, it will leave more so we can have the pleasure of watching her run, roll, and streak through it, leaving dusty snowclouds in her wake.

YAY! Sumi pictures!
Snick LOVES to play in the snow too – as long as it is white and fluffy. He gets very upset when he has to cross salty, slushy streets.

I bet Snick hates the salty stuff, probably makes his poor paws sore!

You can send any unwanted snow this direction. I’m ready for a few inches of the white fluffy stuff. You could send Sumi, too if you wanted.

OMG, she’s getting so big!

Yup, Erica… 23lbs of sass and Shibatude.
Pauly, thanks! She’s definitely a special pup, for sure!

Look how much that gorgeous girl has grown! And smart, too, having already learned how to pack her own snowballs.

I love how in the middle picture Sumi stands so proud.

She’s so. . .stunning! At once a puppy and yet so REGAL in her bearing. *sigh* She’s purtyful.
Nothing is cuter than a doggie frolicking in the snow!

Margi, that’s the perfect word- “regal”. She has that quality about her, and displays it often. She looks like a female version of her daddy, Kojiro. He’s regal and stunning himself.
Jenn, smart is an understatement. I’ve never owned a smarter (or more stubborn) dog!
Welcome to the site, Jackal. Glad you enjoyed- that middle shot is my favorite, too.
